Wizz App - chat now

Meeting strangers online is the whole point of Wizz App - chat now, a social app from Wizz built around spontaneous conversations with people in other countries. The listing pitches it squarely at teenagers who want to make new friends through quick, casual chats.

The main loop is swiping: users flick through profiles of people who are online and start a conversation with anyone who catches their interest. Beyond one-to-one chats, there are groups for meeting others with shared interests. The app pairs people with others of a similar age, and the developer mentions an age gate plus other safety measures, along with automatic bans for anyone posting inappropriate content. In short, it is a fast, low-effort way to strike up conversations rather than a place for long-form posting.

Opinion is sharply split. Wizz averages 3.1 from about 61,500 ratings, and while 44% of those are five stars, a hefty 38% are one star. It has passed 5,000,000+ installs. The app is free but shows ads and sells in-app purchases from $0.99 to $49.99 per item. It was updated on 2026-08-21, requires Android 8.0 or later, and is rated Teen. We list 31 versions, and the latest, 9.10.0, is a large 248.1 MB download.

Teens looking for a quick way to chat with peers abroad are the obvious audience. Anyone bothered by ads, paid extras or the polarised ratings may prefer a more established messaging service.
