Tubi: Free Movies & Live TV

Nothing to pay and nothing to sign up for: that is the bargain offered by Tubi: Free Movies & Live TV, the streaming service from Tubi TV. Films, series and live channels are all free to watch, with advertising covering the cost instead of a monthly fee.

Viewing splits into on-demand and live. On the live side, channels carry news, local weather, sports and general entertainment around the clock, including local news for checking the forecast. The on-demand library spans films from major studios and smaller independent productions, with new titles added every month, plus full series ranging from cooking competitions and evening soaps to sitcoms. Tubi also makes its own Originals, which are only available on the service, and runs a comic-book collection of superhero films and series. Users pick a title and press play, or drop into a live channel much as they would on cable, and nothing in the description requires a subscription.

The app is extremely well liked: a 4.9 average from 2,587,958 ratings, with 90% five stars and only 1% one star. It has 100,000,000+ installs. Advertising is how the service pays for itself, and the record lists no in-app purchases. The most recent update is from 2026-09-14, the Android requirement varies with device and it is rated Teen. We list 59 versions; version 10.35.0 is the newest at 88.5 MB.

Budget-minded viewers who want a large free catalogue and some live TV will find plenty to watch. Anyone who cannot stand ad breaks will prefer a paid, ad-free service.
