Truth Social, published by T Media Tech LLC, is a social network that presents itself as a free-speech alternative to the largest tech platforms. Its store listing is openly political in tone, but the app itself follows a familiar social media format of profiles, feeds, posts and messages.

Each user sets up a profile with an avatar and background image, with follower and following counts and a history of posts and likes. The Truth Feed shows posts from followed people, organisations and news outlets, enriched with thumbnails and links. Posts are called Truths, and users can publish their own, re-share others as Re-Truths, and attach photos, news stories, polls or video links. Search helps find accounts to follow, either straight from the results or after viewing a profile. Direct messages allow private one-on-one chats, with an optional timer that erases messages after anywhere from a week to three months, per-chat mute settings, blocking, reporting and a preference to stop followed accounts from messaging. Polls can be created to gather opinions.

Ratings are sharply divided. The app averages 3.0 from 27,667 ratings, with 42% five stars and 44% one star, so almost as many users dislike it as love it. It has 5,000,000+ installs.
