PolyBuzz: Chat with AI Friends

Voiced AI characters are the draw of PolyBuzz: Chat with AI Friends, published by CLOUD WHALE INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY LLC. It is an entertainment chatbot app where each character comes with its own personality and voice, and where anyone can build new characters for the community to talk to.

The starting point is a large catalogue of ready-made characters. Some are modelled on celebrities, others on figures from films, TV shows or history, and each replies in its own style and spoken voice rather than as a neutral assistant. Conversations are open-ended, so a chat can drift into a story, a role-play scene or casual small talk, and the developer says the replies are designed to stay varied instead of looping. Character creation is open to every user: a new character can be real or invented, kept private for personal chats or published so others can talk to it too. Browsing and chatting with creations made by the wider community is a large part of the app, and basic conversations are described as free.

PolyBuzz has 50,000,000+ installs and a 4.0 average from 1,176,896 ratings. Two thirds of those, 67%, are five stars, but 16% are one star. The app shows ads and sells in-app items from $0.05 to $299.99 each. It was updated on 2026-09-21, needs Android 7.0 or newer and is rated Mature 17+. We list 54 versions; the newest, 2.2.72, weighs 200.1 MB.

Adults who enjoy role-play and character fiction will find a huge cast to explore. Younger users are excluded by the rating, and anyone short on storage should note the download size.
