Face Dance: AI Photo Animator

Turning a still photo into a singing, dancing clip is what Face Dance: AI Photo Animator from Deep Flow Apps sets out to do. The app takes a selfie or any portrait and applies animated face movements to it, producing short videos meant for laughs and sharing.

The basic flow is to upload a picture, choose a song or animation from a large library, and let the app make the face move and lip-sync. Suggested uses include making a pet talk, a friend sing or a boss dance to a silly track. A Nostalgia mode is aimed at old and black-and-white photos, bringing them to life. Users can also record their own lip-sync and publish it so others can apply those moves to their selfies. Finished clips are formatted for sharing to TikTok, Instagram or group chats, and the developer says new dances arrive every day.

It has 10,000,000+ installs and a 4.4 average from 153,867 ratings, 75% of which are five stars against 11% one star. The app is free to install but ad supported, and in-app purchases range from R$10.99 to R$239.99 per item. Note that the last update is dated 2025-08-26, over a year ago. It is rated 14+, needs Android 7.0 or newer, and we list 31 versions, the latest being 1.8.8 at 159.0 MB.

People who enjoy meme videos and animating old family photos have a lot to play with. Anyone wanting a light, ad-free tool, or one that is actively maintained, may be less satisfied.
