My Character: Cartoon Filter

My Character: Cartoon Filter, from CEM SOFTWARE LTD, is a camera toy that pairs your face with a randomly chosen animated character. It sits in the same space as viral who-am-I filters, promising a laugh rather than an accurate match.

Three features are listed. The cartoon match filter runs over your photo and lands on a random animated character for you. A guessing game records a short video with a filter that ends by revealing your cartoon twin, ready to share. A fantasy generator dreams up fictional characters for you, such as a royal or a secret admirer, again at random. Results can be posted to social media to get friends involved. The developer stresses that every result is random and fictional, and that the app claims no connection to real people or to trademarked characters owned by others.

The app averages 4.3 from about 64,000 ratings, with 73% five-star and 10% one-star, and has 5,000,000+ installs. It is free with ads and has no in-app purchases. The latest update came on 2026-09-14, Android 7.0 or newer is required, and it is rated Everyone. We list two versions, the newest being 1.5.5, with no size recorded.

Anyone who likes sharing silly filter videos with friends will get quick entertainment from it. Those hoping for a real look-alike analysis should remember that the results are random by design. It is light, quick and made for group chats.
