ChatOn - AI Chat Bot Assistant

ChatOn - AI Chat Bot Assistant, made by AIBY Inc., is a general-purpose AI assistant that bundles text chat with image and video generation. It is aimed at a wide audience, from bloggers to business users, and relies on models from several AI companies.

The workflow is simple: type a request or choose one of more than 100 ready-made prompts, let the app process it, and get the result back as text, an image or a summary. Typical jobs include writing, editing and proofreading text, getting quick explanations, brainstorming ideas and planning daily tasks, trips or schedules. Among the models the developer says it draws on are Claude Sonnet 5, Sonar, GPT-4o, GPT-5 and Gemini 3.5 Flash. Visual tools are built into the same chat: users can generate images and videos, including from their own photos, swap backgrounds, improve image quality and refine details without switching apps. The prompt library is the main shortcut for anyone unsure how to phrase a request.

ChatOn has 10,000,000+ installs and a 4.5 average from 451,828 ratings, with 78% five stars and 7% one star. There are no ads, while in-app purchases range from $1.29 to $79.99 per item, pointing to paid plans for heavier use. It was updated on 2026-08-27, needs Android 8.0 or newer and is rated Teen. We list 30 versions, the newest being 1.106.811-913.

People who want one app for writing help and image creation, and like starting from templates, will find it approachable. Anyone expecting unlimited free use should check the paid tiers first.
