Mud, rocks and trailers define Offroad Outlaws, an open-world driving sandbox from Battle Creek Games, LLC. There is no fixed race to win; the game hands over a garage and a large network of trails and lets players decide what kind of offroad day they want.

The vehicle list is long: pickup and mud trucks, jeeps, rock crawlers, monster trucks, big semis, ATVs, quads, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, boats, jet skis and even drones, each with its own handling. Tuning is the other half of the game. Players can adjust suspension stiffness, damping and travel, change axle types, lower tyre pressure for crawling or lift a truck for trails, swap in diesel engines and apply liveries, decals and wraps. Between drives there are jobs to take on, such as hauling a trailer of boulders, towing a jet ski to the water, firefighting or hunting for crates on the map to earn money, and players can also invent their own roleplay.
