CarX Highway Racing

High speed through heavy traffic is the draw of CarX Highway Racing, a racing game from CarX Technologies. It borrows the physics model from the studio's CarX Drift Racing 2 and applies it to busy highways, where weaving between everyday vehicles is as important as beating rivals.

The campaign has a story: players get involved with secret organisations, work to bring down Winston's empire and try to foil the plans of the Syndicate, travelling through locations such as the Texas desert, Australia, France and Russia. Along the way they make allies who help out. The garage holds around 40 cars, ranging from pickup trucks and classics to muscle cars and supercars, and each can be adjusted to change how it drives. An online mode lets players race against others for the top spots.

Players give it a 4.7 average from about 1.9 million ratings, with 80% five stars and only 2% one star. It has 100,000,000+ installs. The game is free with ads, and in-app purchases range from $0.99 to $54.99 per item. It was updated on 2026-09-17, needs Android 7.1 or newer and is rated Everyone. We list 32 versions, but the newest is a very large 744.0 MB download.

Racing fans who want a story campaign and realistic handling alongside online races will get a well-rounded package. Those with limited storage, or who want an ad-free game, should think carefully first. The mix of offline story and online competition means there is always a next goal.
