NeuroNation - Brain Training

NeuroNation - Brain Training comes from the developer of the same name and is built around the promise of short daily sessions. The idea is that around 15 minutes a day of structured exercises can help with memory, concentration and thinking speed.

After an initial analysis of a user's strengths and weaknesses, the app creates a personal training plan. It draws on more than 34 exercises spread across 300 levels, so there is variety as sessions go on. Progress is analysed in detail, letting users see how different skills develop. The developer points to a study run jointly with Freie Universität Berlin's Department of General Psychology on the effect of its memory training, and notes a separate prescription product, NeuroNation MED, which German health insurers reimburse; people with a prescription are directed to that app rather than this one.

NeuroNation averages 4.5 from nearly 480,000 ratings, with 71% at five stars and 5% at one star, and it has 10,000,000+ installs. It is free to install and ad supported, while in-app purchases range from €3.99 to €350.00 when billed through Google Play. It was updated on 2026-09-11, requires Android 8.0 or newer, and is rated USK: All ages. We list 32 versions; the latest, 3.8.94, is 143.3 MB.

Anyone who wants a structured, measured daily brain workout with visible progress will find it well developed. Those looking for a fully free experience, or for the medical version, should note the pricing and the separate MED app.
