Editor Reviews

Live Wallpapers HD 4K, published under the name Wallpaper app, is a large personalization catalogue that mixes still images, animated wallpapers and short videos for the phone screen, with some AI-generated artwork in the mix.

The library is claimed at more than 10,000 HD and 4K wallpapers, chosen by the developer's own team of artists and spread across a very wide range of categories: animals, anime, cars, motorcycles, aircraft, games, nature, space, architecture, cities, football, cartoons, holidays, aesthetics and joke themes such as warning people not to touch your phone. Beyond picking and applying a background, two extra features stand out. A Dynamic 24H option changes the look through the day, and a Dual Wallpaper feature allows different images for different screens. The developer also says its wallpaper engine is tuned to limit battery drain, and the collection is refreshed regularly.

The app averages 4.4 from about 207,000 ratings, with 75% five-star but a notable 12% one-star, and it has 10,000,000+ installs. It is free with ads, and in-app purchases range from $0.99 to $49.99 per item. It was updated on 2026-09-21, needs Android 8.0 or newer, and is rated Teen. We list 35 versions; the latest, 4.6.5, is 56.5 MB.

Users who want a huge variety of animated and still backgrounds in one place will find plenty to browse. Anyone bothered by ads or in-app upsells may prefer a smaller, paid-once alternative.

Frequently asked questions

01 Is Live Wallpapers HD 4K free?

Yes. Live Wallpapers HD 4K is listed as free on Google Play and offers in-app purchases ($0.99 - $49.99 per item); it also shows ads.

02 Which Android version does Live Wallpapers HD 4K need?

The current release requires Android 8.0. If your device is older, one of the 30 earlier versions listed above may still install.

03 How do I install the APK?

Download the file from the version page, open it on your Android device and allow installs from this source when prompted. XAPK bundles need the APKPure app or a split-APK installer (see the install guide in the footer). Always prefer the latest version unless you specifically need an older build.

04 Is the download safe?

Files come from our download library or external sources and are not modified by us. Check the package name (com.techpro.livevideo.wallpaper) and developer before installing.

05 How do I get my account back?

Accounts belong to the developer's own service, not to this site. Use the sign-in recovery option inside Live Wallpapers HD 4K, or contact Wallpaper app through the support address listed on Google Play.

06 How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions bought through Google Play are managed in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions; purchases made inside the app follow the developer's own billing.

07 Can I get a refund?

Appmello never charges for downloads, so there is nothing to refund here. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play or by the developer. Never enter payment details on any page claiming to be a download step.

08 How do I use Live Wallpapers HD 4K?

Open the app after installing; it works exactly like the Play Store build. For feature questions see the developer's help pages, as Appmello only distributes the installer.
