Little Nightmares

A horror adventure that first appeared on PC and consoles, Little Nightmares has been brought to Android by Playdigious. It tells a dark, fairy-tale-like story about Six, a small girl trying to get out of The Maw, a huge and mysterious ship whose twisted residents are hunting for their next meal.

Play mixes light action with puzzle-platforming. Six has to sneak through the vessel's gloomy corridors, climbing, crawling and hiding to stay out of sight, and running when its inhabitants give chase. Rooms work like environmental puzzles, with the ship described as a disturbing dollhouse and a prison full of secrets. Atmosphere carries a lot of the weight: the listing puts its eerie art style and unsettling sound design at the front, and the whole thing is built around childhood fears.

This is a premium title at $8.49 on Google Play, and the download button on this page leads to Google Play. There is also a small in-app purchase of $0.49 per item, but no ads. The game has 1,000,000+ installs and a 4.4 average from 14,947 ratings, with 77% five-star and 10% one-star scores. It was updated on 2026-02-25, needs Android 9 or higher, and is rated Teen. A Wi-Fi connection is recommended for the first download.

Fans of atmospheric, story-led platformers who do not mind paying up front will get a console-style experience on their phone. Players who dislike horror or want a free game should skip it. The strong five-star share suggests most buyers feel the price is justified.
