LEGO ® Batman: Beyond Gotham

Batman leaves Gotham far behind in LEGO ® Batman: Beyond Gotham, an adventure from Warner Bros. International Enterprises. The story sends the Caped Crusader and a crowd of DC heroes into outer space to stop Brainiac from wiping out Earth.

The roster is the main draw, with over 100 playable characters to unlock, including Justice League members, Lantern heroes and villains, and big LEGO figures such as Solomon Grundy. The developer notes that every character and ability can be earned without paying extra. Special suits grant new powers, such as Batman's Demolition Suit, Robin's Techno Suit, Cyborg's Stealth Suit and the Joker's Decoy Suit. The campaign spans 45 missions through an original space story and Lantern worlds like Zamaron and Odym, plus familiar DC locations such as the Batcave, the Hall of Justice and the Watchtower. Controls can be switched between Classic and Touch Screen styles.

This is a paid title at $4.99 on Google Play, and the download button on this page leads to Google Play. It has no ads, and optional in-app purchases cost $0.99 to $9.99 per item. Reception is lukewarm: 3.6 from 15,167 ratings, with 54% five stars and 25% one star. It has 100,000+ installs. The last update is dated 2024-08-14, so it has not changed in some time; it runs on Android 5.0 or newer and is rated Everyone 10+.

LEGO and DC fans who want a large cast and a full campaign will find plenty of content. The long gap since the last update and the high one-star share are reasons for caution.
