Editor Reviews

Idol Prank Call & Chat Prank, from WELLY GLOBAL PUBLISHING, is a joke app that simulates calls and messages from celebrity-style characters. The developer is careful to say that these are fictional figures resembling idols and public figures, with no connection to any real person.

Three features make up the app. A fake video call shows an idol-like character calling you, with a ringtone to make it convincing. A fake audio call does the same with sound effects only. A chat simulator lets you write a conversation with a celebrity or a friend for a joke. Calls can be scheduled to arrive whenever you choose, which is what makes the prank work in front of others. The developer repeatedly frames all of it as harmless fun and stresses that it is not an official app.

Ratings are mixed at 3.3 from about 4,200 votes; 43% are five-star and 31% one-star. It has 5,000,000+ installs. The app is free with ads and in-app purchases from ₹60.00 to ₹650.00 per item. It was updated on 2026-08-22, requires Android 7.0 or later and is rated for 3+. We list 11 versions; the latest, 1.1.7, is 58.9 MB.

Fans who want a quick laugh by pretending a star is calling will find the tools they need. Anyone hoping for real contact with celebrities should know none of it is genuine, and the one-star share is high. Use it for laughs only.
