Editor Reviews

Old-school dungeon crawling drives Eternium from Making Fun, an action RPG that looks back to the classic point-and-click games of the genre. What sets it apart on mobile is its control scheme: tap where you want to go, and draw symbols on the screen to cast spells.

Players pick a Mage, Warrior or Bounty Hunter, wielding swords, axes, staves or guns, and level up to learn abilities and raise attributes. Combat is fast, with a heavy emphasis on effects, sound and damage numbers. The journey spans four hand-made worlds plus endless generated levels, moving from caves, forests, villages and graveyards to demon-held castles and snowy peaks, then on to the moon and even the deserts and jungles of the red planet. Enemies range from skeletons and zombies to automatons, aliens, demons and dragons. Treasure chests supply gold, gems and armour pieces, from helmets to cloaks and shields. The developer promotes a player-friendly approach: no paywalls, no stamina limits, gems earned from enemies and quests, and the best gear obtained by playing. Most content works offline once downloaded, apart from a few online features.

The reception is outstanding: about 2.7 million ratings average 4.8, with 87% five stars and just 2% one star. It has 10,000,000+ installs. There are no ads, and in-app purchases range from $0.99 to $99.99 per item, described as optional. It was updated on 2026-08-26, needs Android 7.1 or newer and is rated Teen. We list 31 versions; the current 1.47.8 is 474.3 MB.

Fans of classic loot-driven action RPGs who dislike energy timers will find it a standout. Players short on storage should make room first.

Frequently asked questions

01 Is Eternium free?

Yes. Eternium is listed as free on Google Play and offers in-app purchases ($0.99 - $99.99 per item).

02 Which Android version does Eternium need?

The current release requires Android 7.1. If your device is older, one of the 31 earlier versions listed above may still install.

03 How do I install the APK?

Download the file from the version page, open it on your Android device and allow installs from this source when prompted. XAPK bundles need the APKPure app or a split-APK installer (see the install guide in the footer). Always prefer the latest version unless you specifically need an older build.

04 Is the download safe?

Files come from our download library or external sources and are not modified by us. Check the package name (com.makingfun.mageandminions) and developer before installing.

05 How do I get my account back?

Accounts belong to the developer's own service, not to this site. Use the sign-in recovery option inside Eternium, or contact Making Fun through the support address listed on Google Play.

06 How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions bought through Google Play are managed in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions; purchases made inside the app follow the developer's own billing.

07 Can I get a refund?

Appmello never charges for downloads, so there is nothing to refund here. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play or by the developer. Never enter payment details on any page claiming to be a download step.

08 How do I use Eternium?

Open the app after installing; it works exactly like the Play Store build. For feature questions see the developer's help pages, as Appmello only distributes the installer.
