Toca Boca Jr: Fun Kids Games

Toca Boca Jr: Fun Kids Games gathers several of Toca Boca's classic children's titles into a single app aimed at ages two to eight. It is published on Google Play by Play Piknik and sits in the Educational category, pitched at preschoolers who learn through free play rather than lessons.

Each included game has its own focus. In Toca Boca Dance, kids pick costumes, form a group, set up a stage and make music videos. Toca Boca Kitchen 2 is a mess-free cooking game where children prepare food, some of it deliberately odd, and serve it to hungry characters to see how they react. Toca Boca Lab: Elements introduces all 118 elements of the periodic table as a playful first step toward science. Toca Boca Pet Doctor asks young players to look after 25 different animals. The common thread is open-ended play that encourages problem solving and self-expression.

The ratings tell a mixed story. The average is 3.3 from more than 1.7 million ratings, and while 49% are five stars, a large 33% are one star. The app has 100,000,000+ installs. It is free to install but carries ads and in-app purchases priced from $7.99 to $79.99 per item, which is a high floor for a kids' app. The last update was on 2026-08-31, Android 9 or newer is required, and it is rated Everyone. We list 30 versions, the newest being 4.5.0.

Parents who want a range of gentle, creative games under one icon may find it convenient. Given the one-star share and the purchase prices, it is worth checking which games are included for free before handing it to a child.
