starryai - AI Art Generator

Beginners and experienced artists alike are invited to play with starryai - AI Art Generator, the image-making app from starryai Inc. Its promise is that a short prompt and a style choice are enough to get finished-looking visuals.

The main tool is text-to-image: describe a subject, choose a style, and the app renders it, from anime-flavoured illustrations to hyperrealistic landscapes. Once an image exists, a variations feature produces alternative takes on it. Photos can be turned into artwork with a photo generator, and a portrait tool reshapes pictures of people into stylised portraits. There is also an AI drawing mode that supports sketching, doodling and painting, plus a dedicated anime option for fans of that look.

It holds a 4.2 average from about 211,000 ratings, with 70% five stars and 11% one star, and has 10,000,000+ installs. The app is free with ads, and in-app purchases range from $4.49 to $249.99 per item. It was updated on 2026-09-16, requires Android 8.0 or newer, and is rated Teen. We list 2 versions, the latest being 2.30.8.

Hobbyists who like iterating on an image through variations will find that feature especially useful. Users hoping for an ad-free creative space, or wary of high-priced bundles, should weigh that before diving in. The variations tool in particular rewards patience, since one promising result can be pushed in several directions before settling on a favourite. The Teen rating keeps it open to older students interested in digital art.
