Painty Hide n Seek

Camouflage by paintbrush is the gimmick of Painty Hide n Seek, a casual game from CDT Games Limited. It reworks the playground classic so that hiding is less about finding a cupboard and more about colouring yourself to vanish into the background.

Each round follows the same steps. The player paints their character in colours that match part of the stage, picks the best spot to hide, strikes a pose that fits the surroundings and then holds perfectly still while a Seeker scans the level. If the disguise works, the round is survived; if not, the Seeker finds the hider. The description frames it as a test of creativity more than speed, since choosing the right colours and position matters most. The listing does not go further into modes, stages or characters, so the loop above is what is confirmed.

Reception is mixed. The game averages 3.7 from 8,849 ratings; 54% are five stars but 22% are one star, a sizeable group of unhappy players. It has 5,000,000+ installs. It is free with ads, and in-app purchases cost ₹140.00 to ₹550.00 per item. It was updated on 2026-09-10, is rated for 3+ and needs Android 7.0 or newer. We list 19 versions, and the latest, 0.1.8, is a bulky 323.8 MB for a casual game.

Kids and casual players who like creative, low-pressure rounds should enjoy the concept. Those with limited storage or low patience for ads may want to pass. Its 19 listed versions show the game has been updated fairly regularly over time.
