Editor Reviews
Lands of Jail, from SINGAPORE JUST GAME TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD., puts the player in charge of a prison colony. In a world of rising crime and social divisions, the player is sent to the Isle of the Banished as its Warden and must turn chaos into a working, profitable institution.
The job has several parts. Players oversee prisoners' daily lives, from meal times to work assignments, and their choices tip the facility toward calm or unrest. Dangerous fugitives are still at large, so tracking them down and bringing them back is part of the routine, and once captured they can be put to work. Money matters too: the budget has to be managed, facilities upgraded and a profit turned while keeping inmates in line.
The game is well received: 4.6 from 227,465 ratings, with 76% five stars and only 4% one star, and 10,000,000+ installs. There are no ads; in-app purchases range from $0.99 to $99.99 per item. It was updated on 2026-09-12, needs Android 7.0 or newer and is rated Teen. We list 21 versions, but the newest, 1.0.73, is a very large 631.5 MB download.
Strategy players who like management sims with a slightly darker theme will find plenty to organise. Players with limited storage should plan for the size before downloading.
