Editor Reviews

Color sorting gets a feline makeover in Kitty Sort: Twisted Tails from Smart Project GMBH. Instead of liquids or balls, the puzzles are dressed up with cute cats, bright colors and cheerful animation, and the aim is the usual one for the genre: arrange everything so each group ends up matched by color.

Each level presents a fresh sorting challenge, and the difficulty climbs from easy warm-ups to trickier layouts that require planning a few moves ahead. The developer stresses a large number of hand-made levels, a clean interface and simple controls, so newcomers can start without a tutorial while experienced puzzle fans still get something to chew on. The whole thing is pitched as relaxing, low-pressure play that also exercises the brain. The description does not detail special mechanics, power-ups or events, so assume a classic sort puzzle with a charming coat of paint rather than a reinvention of the formula.

Players rate it highly: 4.6 from about 64,500 ratings, with 84% five stars and 6% one star. It has passed 10,000,000+ installs. The game is free but shows ads and sells in-app purchases priced between R$1.99 and R$269.99 per item. It was updated on 2026-09-15, needs Android 7.0 or newer, and is rated All ages. We list 23 versions; the current 1.39.5 build is fairly large at 183.6 MB.

Anyone who enjoys calm color-sorting puzzles and cute cat art should feel right at home. Players who dislike ads or have little storage free may prefer a smaller sort game.
