Because Johnny keeps moving, each encounter becomes a brief window in which to line up shots on gangsters as they come into view. Every level asks for its own tactical solution, and there are thousands of them. Hostages complicate things: hitting an innocent bystander sends the player back to the start. Physics also plays a part, with ricochets, explosions, gravity and trick shots used to reach enemies who are hard to hit directly. Collecting is a big draw, with 57 weapons spread across pistols, SMGs, automatic rifles, superguns and Ultimate guns, and keys to gather as well.
