About this app
Editor Reviews
Aimed at fans of K-pop and US or UK pop stars, Idol Prank Video Call & Chat from HIGAME GLOBAL is a prank app that fakes video calls and chats with famous idols, mainly to show off to friends.
The steps are few: pick an idol, then start a fake video call or a chat, and talk as if the star were a friend. The point is to impress or fool friends, with the developer calling the calls and chats realistic and stressing that the app is simple to use. The store text advertises the calling as free. It is worth being clear that none of these calls involve the real celebrities; they are staged scenes for a joke.
Opinion is mixed: 3.7 from 52,711 ratings, with 60% five stars and 25% one star, and 10,000,000+ installs. The app is free with ads and has no in-app purchases. It was updated on 2026-09-23, requires Android 8.0 or newer and is rated Everyone. We list 21 versions; the newest, 0.40, is 139.9 MB.
Young fans who want a playful way to fool friends will get the joke quickly. Anyone expecting contact with real celebrities should know it is purely a simulation, and the one-star share suggests many users found it underwhelming.
