About this app
Editor Reviews
Local games, school performances and community fundraisers are the territory of GoFan: Buy Tickets to Events, a ticketing app from GoFan filed under Sports. Its focus is on the events a community turns out for, rather than big-arena concerts.
The store text is brief, but it outlines the essentials. Fans can buy tickets for sporting fixtures, tournaments, performances and fundraisers. For busy weekends of competition, a single pass can cover entry to multiple games instead of buying each one separately. Performance events come with seat selection, so buyers can pick where they sit. There is also a way to give money directly to teams and programmes, which fits the app's community-support angle. Beyond buying, choosing seats and donating, the listing does not describe other tools, so it is best thought of as a straightforward digital box office.
Users rate it highly: 4.8 from about 8,500 ratings, with 89% five stars and only 3% one star. It has 500,000+ installs. There are no ads and no in-app purchases in the record; money changes hands only for the tickets and donations themselves. The app was updated on 2026-09-16, needs Android 7.0 or newer, and is rated Everyone. We list 4 versions, the latest being 6.4.12.
Parents, students and supporters who attend events that sell through GoFan will find it the obvious way in. For events that use a different ticketing system, the app has nothing to offer. Its lack of ads keeps the buying process uncluttered.
