About this app
Editor Reviews
Ghost hunting as a pastime is the theme of Ghost Detector Real Life Radar from Spot Among Party. The entertainment app dresses up a phone as a paranormal gadget with a radar display, a camera scanner and an EVP-style recorder, aimed at people who enjoy spooky role-play.
The app shows a radar that marks where a so-called presence is, lets users scan rooms through the camera and record audio in the style of an EVP session. The store text frames it as a device for finding spirits at home and even casts the user as a ghost hunter working with a spirit communicator. It is worth being clear that the app sits in the entertainment category, and nothing in the record shows it measures anything real, so it is best enjoyed as a game of make-believe.
The rating is 4.1 from 33,825 ratings, with 63% five stars and 12% one star, and installs have passed 10,000,000+. It is free with ads, and there is an in-app purchase priced at $2.49 per item. It was updated on 2026-06-22, needs Android 7.1 or newer and is rated Everyone. We list 1 version, 3.5.
It suits friends who like a spooky prop for a sleepover or Halloween night. Anyone hoping for genuine paranormal detection should look at it strictly as entertainment.
