RobTop Games built its reputation on punishing, music-driven platforming, and Geometry Dash Lite is the free taster of that formula. It is a rhythm-based action platformer in which a small geometric character hurtles forward through levels timed to the soundtrack, and one mistake sends it back to the start.

Control comes down to a single touch. The character moves automatically, and the player taps to jump, fly and flip past spikes and hazardous passages, learning each level's pattern until the timing clicks. Some sections swap the usual jumping for flying a rocket or turning gravity upside down. A practice mode lets players rehearse tricky stretches before attempting a clean run, and new icons and colours can be unlocked to change the character's look. The Lite edition is openly a sampler: the developer points to the full version for more levels, soundtracks, achievements and the online level editor, none of which are part of this free build.

The response has been enormous. With more than 7.7 million ratings it averages 4.4, and 75% of those ratings are five stars against 8% at one star. Installs have passed 500,000,000+. It is free with ads and has no in-app purchases. The most recent update is dated 2026-01-30, it requires Android 6.0 or newer, and it is rated Everyone 10+.
