Swipe, slice, splatter: Fruit Ninja from Halfbrick Studios is the fruit-slicing arcade game that helped define touchscreen gaming. Fruit is tossed into the air, and a finger acts as a blade to cut it apart before it falls, while bombs mixed into the throws must be avoided.
Three classic modes remain the backbone. Classic is endless: keep slicing, skip the bombs and do not let fruit drop. Arcade is a race for a high score, boosted by special bananas that double points, freeze the action or trigger a frenzy. Zen removes the pressure entirely for relaxed slicing. On top of those sit power-ups that raise scores, an Event mode with clashes against characters such as Truffles the pig, Mari and Rinjin that award new swords and dojos, and a daily Challenge mode with prizes. Friends can compete on a shared screen locally or compare scores on a leaderboard, and there are minigames themed on Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots.
The game has 500,000,000+ installs and about 5.3 million ratings with a 4.4 average; 77% are five stars and 10% are one star. It is free with ads, and in-app purchases run from $0.99 to $179.99 per item. An update landed on 2026-09-18. It requires Android 6.0 or newer, is rated Everyone, and we list 36 versions; the current 3.97.8 is 357.5 MB.
Anyone after short bursts of satisfying reflex play, including families who want local multiplayer, will find it holds up well. Players who dislike ads or high-priced extras should approach with care.

Frequently asked questions
01 Is Fruit Ninja® free?
Yes. Fruit Ninja® is listed as free on Google Play and offers in-app purchases ($0.99 - $179.99 per item); it also shows ads.
02 Which Android version does Fruit Ninja® need?
The current release requires Android 6.0. If your device is older, one of the 35 earlier versions listed above may still install.
03 How do I install the APK?
Download the file from the version page, open it on your Android device and allow installs from this source when prompted. XAPK bundles need the APKPure app or a split-APK installer (see the install guide in the footer). Always prefer the latest version unless you specifically need an older build.
04 Is the download safe?
Files come from our download library or external sources and are not modified by us. Check the package name (com.halfbrick.fruitninjafree) and developer before installing.
05 How do I get my account back?
Accounts belong to the developer's own service, not to this site. Use the sign-in recovery option inside Fruit Ninja®, or contact Halfbrick Studios through the support address listed on Google Play.
06 How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions bought through Google Play are managed in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions; purchases made inside the app follow the developer's own billing.
07 Can I get a refund?
Appmello never charges for downloads, so there is nothing to refund here. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play or by the developer. Never enter payment details on any page claiming to be a download step.
08 How do I use Fruit Ninja®?
Open the app after installing; it works exactly like the Play Store build. For feature questions see the developer's help pages, as Appmello only distributes the installer.
