The original Five Nights at Freddy's storyline reaches its final chapter in Five Nights at Freddy's 4, published on Android by Clickteam USA LLC. This mobile edition is a remaster based on the PC version, and it keeps the series' focus on dread, sound and split-second decisions.

The setting shifts from a security office to a child's bedroom. Playing as a child whose identity is left unexplained, the player must last until 6am while Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy and worse creatures close in. The only tool is a flashlight. Checking the doors, the closet and the bed behind you is the routine, and a beam of light can drive back something lurking at the end of a hallway. The twist is that listening matters as much as looking: if a creature has already crept close, shining the light at it is a fatal mistake, so players have to judge by sound when to use it. Audio and interface are in English, with subtitles in ten other languages including French, Spanish, Japanese and Korean.

Fans rate it highly, with a 4.6 average from about 42,000 ratings; 80% are five stars and 6% are one star. It has 1,000,000+ installs.
