About this app
Editor Reviews
Part decoration, part privacy tool, Cute Lock Screen & Wallpapers from Prometheus Interactive LLC replaces the standard lock screen with a girly, quote-driven design. Every wallpaper in its gallery is paired with a short quote, and the lock screen itself is protected by a password or passcode.
Setup takes three steps according to the listing: tick the enable box, choose a password and confirm it, then start customising. From there, users can switch between a 12-hour or 24-hour clock, show or hide the date, and decide whether battery level, message notifications and call alerts appear. Two security extras stand out. An intruder selfie feature takes a photo of anyone who tries to get into the phone, and a personal security question adds another layer on top of the password. The developer promises new girly wallpapers regularly.
The app holds a 4.6 average from 73,703 ratings, with 87% five stars and 6% one star, and it has reached 10,000,000+ installs. It is free with ads, and in-app purchases span $0.99 - $99.99 per item. Its most recent update is from 2026-03-18, it requires Android 8.0 or newer, and it is rated Everyone. It is listed in the Beauty category. We list 30 versions; the latest, 5.1.2, is 39.8 MB.
Users who want a cute lock screen with a bit of extra protection against nosy friends will find both in one place. Anyone who relies on the phone's built-in lock and wants a minimal look can skip it, and the wide purchase range and ads deserve a look before installing.

Frequently asked questions
01 Is Cute Lock Screen & Wallpapers free?
Yes. Cute Lock Screen & Wallpapers is listed as free on Google Play and offers in-app purchases ($0.99 - $99.99 per item); it also shows ads.
02 Which Android version does Cute Lock Screen & Wallpapers need?
The current release requires Android 8.0. If your device is older, one of the 30 earlier versions listed above may still install.
03 How do I install the APK?
Download the file from the version page, open it on your Android device and allow installs from this source when prompted. XAPK bundles need the APKPure app or a split-APK installer (see the install guide in the footer). Always prefer the latest version unless you specifically need an older build.
04 Is the download safe?
Files come from our download library or external sources and are not modified by us. Check the package name (com.tgif.girly.lock.screen.wallpaper.with.quotes) and developer before installing.
05 How do I get my account back?
Accounts belong to the developer's own service, not to this site. Use the sign-in recovery option inside Cute Lock Screen & Wallpapers, or contact Prometheus Interactive LLC through the support address listed on Google Play.
06 How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions bought through Google Play are managed in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions; purchases made inside the app follow the developer's own billing.
07 Can I get a refund?
Appmello never charges for downloads, so there is nothing to refund here. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play or by the developer. Never enter payment details on any page claiming to be a download step.
08 How do I use Cute Lock Screen & Wallpapers?
Open the app after installing; it works exactly like the Play Store build. For feature questions see the developer's help pages, as Appmello only distributes the installer.
