About this app
Editor Reviews
With more than 1,000,000,000+ installs, 8 Ball Pool from Miniclip.com is among the most widely played sports games on Android. It recreates pool in 3D and makes it a head-to-head online contest, so each match is a duel against a real opponent rather than the computer.
Players choose a table and line up shots with the cue, aiming to pocket their set of balls before the rival does. Matches can be played in multiplayer or PvP modes across different tables and ball types, and the challenge ramps up as players progress. Signing in with a Miniclip or Facebook account makes it easy to challenge friends directly, and tournaments add a competitive structure. Coins are the currency at stake, winnings can unlock exclusive items, and cues can be customised.
The ratings are outstanding: 4.8 from nearly 32 million ratings, with 90% at five stars and just 3% at one star. The game is free with ads, and in-app purchases run from as little as $0.10 up to $299.99 per item. It was updated on 2026-09-18, needs Android 6.0 or newer and is rated Everyone. We list 55 versions, the latest at 145.7 MB.
Anyone who enjoys pool, or just wants a quick competitive match against friends, will find it easy to jump into. Players who dislike ads or coin-based systems that invite spending should know both are present. The large number of versions we list also makes it easy to find a build that suits an older device, as long as it runs Android 6.0 or newer.

Frequently asked questions
01 Is 8 Ball Pool free?
Yes. 8 Ball Pool is listed as free on Google Play and offers in-app purchases ($0.10 - $299.99 per item); it also shows ads.
02 Which Android version does 8 Ball Pool need?
The current release requires Android 6.0. If your device is older, one of the 51 earlier versions listed above may still install.
03 How do I install the APK?
Download the file from the version page, open it on your Android device and allow installs from this source when prompted. XAPK bundles need the APKPure app or a split-APK installer (see the install guide in the footer). Always prefer the latest version unless you specifically need an older build.
04 Is the download safe?
Files come from our download library or external sources and are not modified by us. Check the package name (com.miniclip.eightballpool) and developer before installing.
05 How do I get my account back?
Accounts belong to the developer's own service, not to this site. Use the sign-in recovery option inside 8 Ball Pool, or contact Miniclip.com through the support address listed on Google Play.
06 How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions bought through Google Play are managed in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions; purchases made inside the app follow the developer's own billing.
07 Can I get a refund?
Appmello never charges for downloads, so there is nothing to refund here. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play or by the developer. Never enter payment details on any page claiming to be a download step.
08 How do I use 8 Ball Pool?
Open the app after installing; it works exactly like the Play Store build. For feature questions see the developer's help pages, as Appmello only distributes the installer.
